Recap: Meadow Broncos vs. Whitharral Panthers
The Meadow Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight loss. They suffered a tough 43-18 loss at the hands of Whitharral. Meadow has struggled against Whitharral recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Whitharral's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jack Griffin, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Nathaniel Sansom, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Meadow bumped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Whitharral, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.
Meadow will head out on the road to challenge Amherst at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Amherst is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Whitharral, they will be playing at home against Morton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Morton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
