Basketball Recap: Blackfoot's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Blackfoot had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They managed a 56-50 win over the Skyline Grizzlies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Broncos also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Blackfoot was led to victory by Austin Arave and Lawrence Cousineau. Arave almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards, while Cousineau went 5 for 6 en route to 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Arave's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Ledger Baldwin was another key player, putting up five points.

Blackfoot's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Skyline, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blackfoot will square off against Idaho Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline has already played their next game (against Hillcrest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
