Basketball Recap: Herreid/Selby Takes a Loss

Herreid/Selby lost against Northwestern Area back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Herreid/Selby Wolverines took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwestern Area Wildcats. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Herreid/Selby's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Northwestern Area, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Coming up, Herreid/Selby won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Aberdeen Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Herreid/Selby is facing Aberdeen Christian at the right time seeing as Aberdeen Christian is stuck on a 20-game losing streak. As for Northwestern Area, they and Waverly/South Shore will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Northwestern Area will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Waverly/South Shore will have lost eight straight heading into Friday's game.
