Volleyball Recap: Cozad Victorious

Cozad picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hemingford Bobcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Haymakers.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cozad was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14.

Emersyn Propp paced Cozad's offense, picking up ten kills. Propp got some help from Whitney Regelin and her 14 assists. Propp was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory got Cozad back to even at 11-11. As for Hemingford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Cozad has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hyannis on the 11th. As for Hemingford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Gordon-Rushville on the 11th.
