Volleyball Recap: Bayside Academy Has No Trouble Against Robertsdale + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bayside Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Robertsdale Golden Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

One reason for the win was Bayside Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Julia Savage, who had five aces and four digs.

Savage wasn't the only good servers: Bayside Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.

Bayside Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-16 record this season. As for Robertsdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-29.

Bayside Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Fairhope on the 16th. Robertsdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
