Soccer Game Preview: Crestview vs. Freeport

The Crestview Bulldogs will take on the Freeport Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crestview's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Crestview fell victim to Niceville and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 460th, while the Eagles are ranked 118th).

Meanwhile, Freeport also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Rocky Bayou Christian on Tuesday, falling 4-0.

Freeport now has a losing record at 5-6-1. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Crestview was able to grind out a solid victory over Freeport in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 2-0. Does Crestview have another victory up their sleeve, or will Freeport turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
