It was fun while it lasted, but Vestavia Hills's undefeated season came to an end after 11 games on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hillcrest Patriots, falling 71-45. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Vestavia Hills fell to 11-1. As for Hillcrest, they pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
