Football Game Recap: Whitehall vs. Augusta

The last time they met ? Whitehall were the 48-20 winner over Augusta. This time around? They had no such luck. Whitehall and Augusta were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Whitehall suffered an agonizing 21-22 defeat. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Whitehall are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4. The victory bumped Augusta's record up to 1-3.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Whitehall will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Melrose-Mindoro. As for Augusta, they will face off against Eleva-Strum. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.
