Baseball Recap: Plaquemine Takes a Loss

After flying high against McKinley last Tuesday, Plaquemine came back down to earth. Plaquemine wound up with the same score they had in their last game (11-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The result was an unpleasant reminder to them of the 9-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Plaquemine's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Brusly, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3-1 record this season.

Plaquemine will head out to face off against Broadmoor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brusly, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-2 victory against Avoyelles on the 21st.
