Soccer Recap: Belton-Honea Path Comes Up Short

Belton-Honea Path was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the West-Oak Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West-Oak this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Belton-Honea Path's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for West-Oak, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belton-Honea Path will take on Palmetto at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West-Oak, they will challenge Crescent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
