Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Hampton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort LeBoeuf Bison on Thursday. The Talbots' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Hampton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marissa Snyder, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Hampton nor Fort LeBoeuf have any future games scheduled.
