Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roy/Mosquero). They blew past the Wagon Mound Trojans 73-39 on Friday. The Blue/Lady Blue have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Wagon Mound's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Eugene Armijo, who posted 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, and Dominic Jaramillo, who went 5 for 7 en route to 10 points and seven boards. Armijo has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jericho Martinez, who had 11 points and six rebounds.

Roy/Mosquero's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Wagon Mound, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Roy/Mosquero will welcome Maxwell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maxwell will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Roy/Mosquero surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wagon Mound, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-44 loss against Cimarron on the 27th.
