Football Game Preview: Pocatello Thunder vs. Century Diamondbacks + How To Watch

The Pocatello Thunder are taking a road trip to face off against the Century Diamondbacks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pocatello has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with five straight losses, while Century will come in with seven straight wins.

On Friday, Pocatello was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 12-7 to Preston.

Meanwhile, Century's game last Friday was all tied up 15-15 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 22-15 victory over Preston. Those 22 points were actually the fewest the Diamondbacks have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Century's win came from a few key players Pocatello will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tito Villano, who rushed for 164 yards while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards. Justus Mangum was in the mix too, providing Century with two scores.

Century's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Pocatello, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Pocatello took their victory against Century in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 27-3 score. In that contest, the Thunder amassed a halftime lead of 27-3, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
