Basketball Game Preview: Sheffield Wolverines vs. Kane Wolves

The Sheffield Wolverines will head out to square off against the Kane Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sheffield is looking for their season's first win.

Sheffield's tournament run continued when they took on Kane last Saturday. Sheffield took a blow against Kane, falling 59-29. The matchup marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kane found their leader in sophomore Preston Darr, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points and seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for Darr. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock Wensel, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points.

Kane was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Kane is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Sheffield, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
