Basketball Recap: Early Comes Up Short

Early lost against New Covenant Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Early Panthers took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Covenant Academy Warriors. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Early's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for New Covenant Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Early will challenge Marionville at 5:30 p.m. on January 21st. Early is facing Marionville at the right time seeing as Marionville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for New Covenant Academy, they will face off against Billings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
