Softball Game Preview: Ingomar Falcons vs. Calhoun City Wildcats

The Ingomar Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Calhoun City Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Ingomar will be strutting in after a victory while Calhoun City will be coming in after a defeat.

Ingomar will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Bruce, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Ingomar walked away with an 11-7 win over Bruce on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Calhoun City didn't have quite enough to beat Bruce on Thursday and fell 10-8.

Calhoun City now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Ingomar, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Ingomar suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Calhoun City in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Ingomar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
