Baseball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Buffalo's offense. They fell just short of the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountaineers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Buffalo dropped their record down to 1-19 with the loss, which was their 23rd straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mt. Vernon, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Buffalo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-4 defeat against Versailles on the 6th. As for Mt. Vernon, they have also already played their next game, an 8-2 win against East Newton on the 6th.
