Volleyball Recap: Iowa Park's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Iowa Park lost against Fairfield back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. While the Hawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-21 in the first set.

Iowa Park started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-13, 25-9.

Iowa Park's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2. As for Fairfield, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Iowa Park will welcome Nocona at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairfield, they will venture away from home to square off against Trinity Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
