Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs by a score of 2-1.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Myrtle Beach, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on TEACH Homeschool at 2:30 p.m. on October 4. As for North Myrtle Beach, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Fort Dorchester on the 13th.
