Baseball Recap: Edmonson County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Edmonson County challenged Peachtree Ridge on Wednesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Lions, falling 17-5. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edmonson County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Wilson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Edmonson County now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Peachtree Ridge, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edmonson County will square off against Murray at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Peachtree Ridge, they will face off against North Gwinnett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
