Raymond Central lost to Lakeview back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Raymond Central Mustangs blew past the Lakeview Vikings 52-31. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Raymond Central found their leader in sophomore Kenzie Teneyck, who went 7 for 12 on her way to 20 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Quincy Cotter, who posted four points along with seven steals and five rebounds.

Raymond Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Lakeview's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kenzie Greisen, who put up eight points in addition to seven boards and five steals, and Brianna Line, who had 11 points. Greisen has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

The win (which was Raymond Central's third in a row) raised their record to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points per game. As for Lakeview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Raymond Central has already played their next contest, a 70-28 victory against Fairbury on the 21st. As for Lakeview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-47 loss against Aquinas on the 18th.
