Basketball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 52-28 to the West Iron County Wykons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered against the Wykons since February 28, 2020.

Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for West Iron County, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-14.

Coming up, Hancock won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dollar Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dollar Bay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.6 points per game this season. As for West Iron County, they will venture away from home to face off against L'Anse at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
