Basketball Recap: Kameron Mcknight's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northland Christian over Westbury Christian

Northland Christian was the 65-58 winner over Westbury Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Northland Christian Cougars took a hard 58-44 fall against the Westbury Christian Wildcats on Tuesday. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kameron McKnight, who posted 18 points and seven rebounds. What's more, McKnight also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sion Cleveland, who had 11 points and five boards.

Northland Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 22-6 record this season. As for Westbury Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-17 record this season.

Northland Christian has already played their next game, an 80-58 loss against St. Francis Episcopal on the 7th. As for Westbury Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-36 win against St. Thomas Episcopal on the 7th.
