Parkview Baptist faced Teurlings Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Rebels by a score of  3-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  victory against them.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 18-25,  25-14.
  Kate Trahan and  Olivia Hebert certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss.  Trahan  had 11  digs, while  Hebert  had ten  digs and one  block. Hebert is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
Parkview Baptist's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Teurlings Catholic,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches  and leaves them with a 18-9 record.
 Coming up, Parkview Baptist will square off against Istrouma at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The  contest will  give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Teurlings Catholic, they will take on Westgate at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
