Soccer Game Preview: Vista Ridge vs. Pine Creek

Vista Ridge is 0-6 against Pine Creek since March of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. Wolves will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Vista Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.7 goals per game this season.

Vista Ridge made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Canon City, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Wolves blew past the Tigers 4-1 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Vista Ridge considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

They hit Canon City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rowan Wolthuis (2), Andriana Brown, and Sydanni Bauer.

Meanwhile, Pine Creek kept a clean sheet against Columbine on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rebels. The win made it back-to-back victories for Pine Creek.

Vista Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five contests. As for Pine Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1.
