Football Recap: Carteret Takes a Loss

If Carteret was riding high fresh off their 28-2 takedown of Perth Amboy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ramblers took a 25-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cranford Cougars on Friday. The Ramblers were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Carteret's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cranford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carteret will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cranford, they will welcome South Plainfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
