Matthew Moore and Chad Gleason provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Riverside Prep. The longest such play in Desert Mountain this season, the connection resulted in 96 yards.

Boron was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. The Bobcats vanquished Silver Valley 26-10 earlier in the week.

D.J. Payne was a passing and rushing force as Boron defeated the Trojans.

Jordan Bella made the biggest impact on defense this week as Desert beat the Silver Knights. He forced 1 fumble and recorded 1 fumble.

Alex Mueller was the best wideout in the league this week as Mammoth defeated Desert Christian. Mueller tallied 3 receptions for 116 yards. Matt Graef helped Mammoth's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 15 yards.

Desert's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Scorpions feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Moore has thrown for 1,520 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Gleason has 36 catches for 861 yards.

Tim Seaman's team's Jadrian Wiser is a mere 46 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 104 carries Wiser has put up 954 yards this year.

The Bobcats are currently in third, while the Eagles are in first.

The Scorpions added to the longest winning streak in Desert Mountain this week by beating Riverside Prep, 57-12. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
