Saidi Wasaidi Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Thursday, Polytechnic got the W thanks in part to Saidi Wasaidi playing the best football he has all season. Wasaidi rushed for 261 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Wasaidi and Polytechnic will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Chisholm Trail at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st. William Quintana-Rodriguez Turns in Season-Best Performance
Chisholm Trail was led to victory by William Quintana-Rodriguez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Quintana-Rodriguez rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
The win made it two in a row for Chisholm Trail and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Quintana-Rodriguez and Chisholm Trail will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Kaeden Grant Delivers Electric Performance Vs Wyatt
Kaeden Grant was a major factor in Arlington Heights's victory over Wyatt on Friday. Grant was dynamite, rushing for 38 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 195 yards and a touchdown on only 18 passes.
For the year, Grant has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 148.5 passing yards per game.

Big Game from Thomas As Paschal Fell 39-31
Jashaun Thomas put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
With the defeat, Paschal broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. Thomas and Paschal will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Wyatt at 7:30 p.m.

Omari Johnson Makes It Two for Chisholm Trail
The second Chisholm Trail player making an appearance here is Omari Johnson, and for good reason. He made a tackle. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 82 yards.
