It was a good run, but Belfry unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 13-4 to the West Rebels.

Belfry saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Jones, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. David Michael Hagy was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Belfry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for West, their record now sits at 12-9.

Looking ahead, Belfry will take on Mingo Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West, they will square off against Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Heritage's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so West's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
