Basketball Recap: Principia Takes a Loss

On Saturday, Principia faced Incarnate Word Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Principia Panthers were outmatched by the Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights and fell 68-34. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Principia's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Principia will host Lutheran South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they will square off against Nerinx Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
