Santa Barbara had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Buena Bulldogs 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in August.
 While Santa Barbara won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22,  25-21.
 Lola Heckman paced Santa Barbara's offense, picking up 12 kills. Heckman got some help from  Jules Horton and her 22 assists.  Aeryn Alexander and  Jacqueline Durling kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
 Buena's loss  came despite strong showings from  Carrie C and  Kaylie Albores.  C  had 19  digs, while  Albores  had 12 assists and six  digs. Albores has been hot, having  posted 12 or more  assists the last six times she's  played.
The  win  got Santa Barbara back to even at 10-10. As for Buena,  with the  loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 6-6.
 Santa Barbara wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-2  defeat against Ventura on the 25th. As for Buena, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  loss against San Marcos on the 25th.
