Basketball Game Preview: Castle View Sabercats vs. Rock Canyon Jaguars

Castle View hasn't had much luck against Rock Canyon recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Castle View Sabercats will be playing at home against the Rock Canyon Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Castle View will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Douglas County, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Castle View came out on top against Douglas County by a score of 62-49 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Rock Canyon strolled past Highlands Ranch with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 75-60. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Castle View better focus on containing Jacob David and Kasen Lehman as the pair were huge in Rock Canyon's win. David went 9-for-14 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds, while Lehman went 8-for-13 en route to 21 points. The game was David's fifth in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Abner, who posted five points and seven boards.

Castle View's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Rock Canyon, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
