Softball Game Preview: Waynedale Golden Bears vs. Fairless Falcons

The Waynedale Golden Bears will take on the Fairless Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

After dropping their season opener at home, Fairless is headed out to face a Golden Bears team ready to give their home crowd a win. Waynedale took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wooster on Saturday.

Kendall Rising made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Miller, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Even though they lost, Waynedale was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wooster only posted a batting average of .226.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Fairless' offense. They came up short against Triway on Monday, falling 9-0.

Fairless saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one double.
