The Turner Ashby Knights will head out to square off against the Spotswood Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Turner Ashby is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

On Friday, Turner Ashby earned a 3-1 victory over Harrisonburg. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Turner Ashby's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Harrisonburg are ranked 97th).

Bennett Wilburn and Fredy 'Daniel' Hernandez scored all three of Turner Ashby's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Spotswood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past Rockbridge County 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for Spotswood as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Spotswood pushed their record up to 5-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three games. As for Turner Ashby, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Turner Ashby skirted past Spotswood 1-0 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
