Volleyball Recap: Dr. Joaquin Garcia Victorious

Dr. Joaquin Garcia proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Palm Beach Central Broncos 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia took Palm Beach Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 18-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Riley Joros paced Dr. Joaquin Garcia's offense, picking up 15 kills. Joros got some help from Dylan Guillenea and his 26 assists. Guillenea was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Palm Beach Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Seminole Ridge on the 18th. As for Palm Beach Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Wellington on the 13th.
