Football Game Recap: South Salem vs. Sprague

The last time they met, Sprague were the 58-12 winner over South Salem. This time around? They had no such luck. Sprague and South Salem were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Sprague suffered an agonizing 20-21 defeat. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Sprague are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4. The win got South Salem back to even at 2-2.

Next week Sprague take on Tigard at 7:00 PM. Sprague stagger into the game hobbled by four consecutive losses while Tigard skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins. As for South Salem, they will face off against Bend. Both teams are tiptoeing into their match after sneaking past their previous opponents.
