Volleyball Recap: Farmington Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Farmington had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Layton on Thursday. The Phoenix put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Phoenix haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Farmington was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-12.

Pearce Eliason paced Farmington's offense, picking up 21 kills. Eliason got some help from Tavin Fulton and his 32 assists. Finally, Yuvraj Multani kept Farmington's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Layton lost, don't look at Ben Peterson. Despite the final result, he had 18 assists and four digs.
