Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addy Foltz and Kylie Lycourt Lead Notre Dame Academy to Victory

Notre Dame Academy barely beat Central Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Fighting Irish with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

The win didn't come easy: Central Catholic scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Leading Notre Dame Academy to victory were Kylie Lycourt and Addy Foltz. Lycourt had 11 digs and two aces, while Foltz had five digs. That's the most digs Foltz has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Notre Dame Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Notre Dame Academy's record now sits at 4-19. As for Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Columbian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
