Basketball Recap: The Awty International Triumphs

The Awty International's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 44-43 photo finish over the Cooper Dragons. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 63-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

The Awty International pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Cooper, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Coincidentally, The Awty International and Cooper will both be playing Lake Houston HomeSchool the next time they take the court. The Awty International will head out to face Lake Houston HomeSchool at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Cooper will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
