Ocean View Christian won the last time they faced Logan Memorial Education Campus and things went their way on Monday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ocean View Christian took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-8.

Ocean View Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tori Worthington, who had seven kills and seven aces. Worthington is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Della Sandoval, who had nine aces.

They weren't the only good server: Ocean View Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 37 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 16 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

The victory got Ocean View Christian back to even at 5-5. As for Logan Memorial Education Campus, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
