Palos Verdes is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Pacifica, sneaking past 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Sea Kings, who have now won four games in a row.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Upland ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Valencia 3-2.

Matthieu Ocampo and Kenert Munoz scored all three of Upland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Palos Verdes pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. As for Upland, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.
