Baseball Recap: Strasburg-Franklin Extends Winning Streak to Four

Strasburg-Franklin waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They skirted past the River Pilots 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since May 7th.

Caden Dugan was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Strasburg-Franklin: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-13 otherwise.

Strasburg-Franklin's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-14. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for River, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6.

Strasburg-Franklin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pilots: the pair will be back at it again later today.
