Baseball Recap: Rye Neck Takes a Loss

Rye Neck lost against Rye back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Garnets, falling 14-4. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ben Gellman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-1. Ryan Magill was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Rye Neck now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Rye, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Rye Neck will be playing at home against Harrison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rye, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Mamaroneck at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
