Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midland Legacy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Odessa Bronchos 75-22. The victory was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on three straight.

Aiden Serrano was his usual excellent self, picking up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Midland Legacy is 3-1 when Serrano posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Rogers, who rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns.

When it comes to explaining why Odessa lost, don't look at Santi Medrano. Despite the final result, he threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards. Jorge Valdez was another key player, rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.

Midland Legacy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
