Avery Huh made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isabella Rockey, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emi Connell, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Liberty lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Liberty's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.
