Baseball Game Preview: Hamilton Yankees vs. Santee Falcons

The Hamilton Yankees will square off against the Santee Falcons at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hamilton came up short against Venice last Friday, falling 8-1. The Yankees haven't had much luck with the Gondoliers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Hamilton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Juarez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Santee had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 10-4 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on D. Maldonado, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs.

Santee's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.
