Del Norte dropped their record down to 10-8-1 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Mission Hills Grizzlies by a score of 5-4. That's two games in a row now that the Nighthawks have lost by just one run.

Lainey LLamas was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. Alexis Kyles was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
