Baseball Game Preview: ACERO Garcia Patriots vs. Bogan Bengals

The ACERO Garcia Patriots will face off against the Bogan Bengals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

ACERO Garcia barely beat Dunbar the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots blew past the Mightymen 16-2 on Wednesday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Mightymen recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

ACERO Garcia got a massive performance out of Isaac Mota, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Mota has posted since back in May of 2024. Sebastian Villegas was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

ACERO Garcia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, Bogan waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 20-10 margin over the Patriots. The Bengals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Bogan's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for ACERO Garcia, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
