Permian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Compass Academy.

When it comes to explaining why Compass Academy lost, don't look at Ellie Molinar. Despite the final result, she had ten digs. Molinar has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Permian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Compass Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Permian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Pecos on the 19th. As for Compass Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Odessa on the 16th.
