West and Kapaun Mt. Carmel squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but West had to settle for second. The game between the West Chargers and the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders didn't end well, with the West Chargers falling 64-50. The Chargers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Corbin Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, shooting 4-for-6 from long range and dropping a double-double with 22 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Johnson has posted since back in December of 2024. Rocco Keller was another key player, shooting 58% from the field to rack up 13 points.

West's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, they have already played their next contest, a 55-43 win against Andover on the 14th.
